Production Agreement

During the audition process and while participating in Feathered: The Musical (the “Show”), I understand that I will have access to materials at various stages of completion that Judah Brown (the “Author”) and Little Shop of Productions, LLC (the “Producer”) wish to be kept confidential, as is their right under the Copyright Act and the private contract between them. The materials include Music Recordings, Sheet Music, Lyrics, and/or Book or Play text.

Therefore, in order to have access to the above-referenced materials for rehearsal and performance purposes, And in acknowledgement of copyright law, as well as the mutual respect accorded all collaborators in the theater, I agree to use the materials only to in regrard to rehearsing and performing in the Show and not to share or distribute them via the Internet or any other medium, nor for any other use unless authorized in writing by the Author and Producer.

Additionally, I agree to comply by the code of conduct below. I understand failure to do so may result in my removal from the production.

Production Code of Conduct

We are committed to making participation in Feathered a harassment-free, safe, and collaborative experience for everyone, regardless of:

  • artistic background or level of experience
  • gender, gender identity, or gender expression
  • sexual orientation
  • disability or neurodivergence
  • personal appearance or body size
  • race, ethnicity, culture, or nationality
  • age (within our youth/undergraduate membership scope)
  • religion, spirituality, or lack thereof
  • socioeconomic background

Little Shop of Productions exists to uplift theatre artists. All production members deserve an environment where they can create, experiment, ask questions, and take risks without fear of mistreatment or exclusion.

Members of the company agree to approach the production with professionalism and commitment.

  • Arrive on time and prepared for rehearsals, fittings, meetings, and performances.
  • Learn all assigned material (lines, music, choreography, and cues) in a timely manner.
  • Follow the guidance of the director, stage manager, and designated artistic leadership.
  • Maintain focus and discipline during rehearsals and performances.

Theatre is collaborative, and every member of the company contributes to the work.

  • Treat all participants with respect, kindness, and professionalism.
  • Value the contributions of performers, musicians, crew, designers, and staff equally.
  • Foster an environment of encouragement rather than competition.
  • Avoid behavior that disrupts rehearsals or undermines the ensemble.

Members of the company share responsibility for protecting the integrity of the work.

  • Do not alter lines, music, choreography, or blocking without approval from the creative team.
  • Maintain consistency between rehearsals and performances.
  • Respect the artistic vision of the production while contributing thoughtfully to the collaborative process.

The safety of the company is a priority.

  • Follow all safety guidelines regarding staging, movement, props, and technical elements.
  • Communicate any injuries, concerns, or hazards to the stage manager immediately.
  • Respect physical and emotional boundaries in rehearsal and performance spaces.

This production is committed to a welcoming and inclusive rehearsal environment.

  • Discrimination, harassment, or exclusion based on race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, religion, or background will not be tolerated.
  • Company members are expected to respect each individual’s identity, pronouns, and lived experience.
  • We strive to create a rehearsal room where artists can take creative risks without fear of hostility or harm.

Open communication is essential for a successful production.

  • Address concerns respectfully through appropriate channels, typically beginning with the stage manager or director.
  • Support a culture of listening, learning, and mutual accountability.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive rehearsal-room discussions.

By participating in this production, company members agree to uphold these standards and contribute to a professional, collaborative, and inclusive theatrical environment.
